Ethos
Being a parent myself I understand parents/guardians want only the best for their children and it is here I base the ethos of my teaching. I will offer a safe and secure learning environment inclusive of all cultures, differences and needs, promoting student centred learning through positive reinforcement in compliance with the Royal Academy of Dance code of conduct and professional practice. I aim to nurture thinking dancers who have high standards for themselves in all areas of their lives through an environment of mutual respect, fairness and equality. I wish to pass on a love of dance, inspire artistry and promote enjoyment in learning. I aim to offer the highest possible standards in my teaching by continuing my own lifelong learning and keeping up-to-date with current developments and trends in the dance profession. Only leading by example should I expect high levels of courteous behaviour and achievement from my students.
